PathNorth.net ("PathNorth", "we") operates a software platform connecting applicants with independent, licensed Canadian immigration professionals (RCICs and lawyers). We do not provide immigration or legal advice.

Account details and uploaded documents are stored for your account. Preparation entries are saved on your device; they become a server-stored review snapshot only when you explicitly share them with an open review service. Professional applications include your legal name, firm, licence and regulatory body. Review events record the responsible account, action and time.

To operate the platform, match you with a verified professional, allow you to share information with that professional, verify professional licences, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We collect only what is needed for these purposes, consistent with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

We collect, use and disclose personal information with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time subject to legal or contractual limits. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide the service.

Private uploads are account-scoped. When review intake is open and you explicitly consent, selected files and your preparation snapshot can be accessed by authorized staff and your assigned verified professional. Suspension or reassignment removes that professional's new access. Withdrawing an eligible review handoff removes reviewer access, but does not erase its retained records or files already downloaded. We do not sell personal information.

Signed-in uploads are enabled in private account storage. Files selected for an active review cannot be overwritten or deleted through the upload controls until review sharing is withdrawn where permitted. Hosting, retention, access requests and deletion procedures still require counsel's review before full service launch.

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information. You may also file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

We will report breaches of security safeguards that create a real risk of significant harm to the Privacy Commissioner and notify affected individuals, as PIPEDA requires.
