1. About the service
PathNorth.net is a software platform only. We are not a law firm or immigration consultancy and do not provide immigration or legal advice, representation, or guarantees of any outcome.
2. Professionals
Advice and representation are provided solely by independent professionals authorised under section 91 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act: CICC-licensed RCICs, members of a Canadian provincial or territorial law society, or Chambre des notaires du Québec members. Each professional is responsible for their own services, fees and retainer agreements with clients.
3. Verification
We check professional licence numbers against public registers before granting client access. Verification is not an endorsement. Applicants should confirm a professional's status themselves on the relevant public register.
4. Fees
[To be confirmed by counsel: platform fee model. Referral fees or commissions tied to client representation may be restricted by regulator rules and must be reviewed.]
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and not upload unlawful, fraudulent or third-party content without authorisation.
6. Document uploads
Signed-in customers can manage private uploads. Review sharing is a separate explicit consent step and is available only when intake is open. Shared review files cannot be changed or deleted while under review. PathNorth does not submit applications to IRCC; a licensed representative records submission made separately in the official portal.
7. Limitation of liability
[To be drafted by counsel, subject to applicable provincial consumer protection law.]
8. Governing law
[Province to be confirmed by counsel] and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will notify users of material changes.
